40 trekkers rescued safely from Kalindi Base & Odin Coal Base area

Dehradun, 28 Sep: Forty trekkers and members of the high-altitude adventure expedition to the Kalindi Base and Odin Col base areas were safely rescued today. All rescued members were transported to safety following established procedures.A total of 11 members were rescued from the Kalindi Pass base area, while 29 members were safely evacuated from the Odin Col base area. Thus, a total of 40 members were successfully rescued from both areas.Under the direction of District Magistrate Prashant Arya, the relevant teams are coordinating and taking necessary action at Harsil and other bases during the rescue operation.In the evening, the District Magistrate visited the Smart Control Room to review the rescue operation, instructed all rescue teams to work diligently, received updates on the Chardham Yatra, and directed them to maintain smooth traffic flow and other services along the pilgrimage route.
