my uttarakhand news/DEHRADUN The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is currently conducting search operations in connection with Uttarakhand’s fake land registry scam which is considered the State’s largest-ever registry scam. The raids are being carried out across multiple locations in five states, including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Assam and Punjab. According to sources, the ED is conducting searches at around 18 locations in these five states. Those privy to the development said that the ongoing operation is targeting several people, including land mafia, government employees and officials working in registry offices, advocates and certain builders for their alleged involvement in the scam.
