
PIONEER NEWS SERVICE/ Dehradun Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has directed the State administration to undertake a special campaign to address the complaints pending in the CM Helpline 1905 for more than 180 days. Chairing a review meeting of the CM Helpline 1905 at the State secretariat on Thursday, the Dhami expressed annoyance at the cases which are pending for more than six months. He warned that action will be taken against officers responsible for not disposing off the pending complaints in a time bound manner. He also warned against forced closure of the public grievances and directed that the CM Helpline should be made one of the best practices of the State. The CM also directed the officers to observe one day in the month as Tehsil day. Similarly one day in a month should be selected for Police Station day. The CM told the officers that he can conduct surprise inspections of Tehsil diwas programmes in any district. In the meeting the CM directed the district magistrates to organise Janata Darshan, Tehsil Diwas and BDC programmes regularly. He directed the Police and Administration to undertake effective verification and anti-encroachment campaigns. The CM said that work for making two model villages in every district should also be done. He directed that malfunctioning electric poles and transformers should be replaced and safety audits of all transformers should be done. The CM directed the officers associated with the authorities that there should be no pendency in the process of approval of the maps. He said that the first three districts becoming TB free will be felicitated. Senior officers of State administration attended the meeting.
