
PIONEER EDGE NEWS SERVICE | Dehradun Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the 13 Adarsh Sanskrit Gram scheme in 13 districts of the State at an event held here on Sunday. He said that the government will construct Sanskrit Bhawans and government primary Sanskrit schools in these villages in the future. These villages include Bhogpur in Dehradun district, Mukhem in Tehri, Kotgaon in Uttarkashi, Goda in Pauri, Bainji in Rudraprayag, Dimmer in Chamoli, Urg in Pithoragarh, Jainti Pandekota in Almora, Sheri in Bageshwar, Kharkkarki in Champawat, Nurpur Panjanhedi in Haridwar, Pandegaon in Nainital and Nagla Terai in Udham Singh Nagar. Expressing grief at disasters in Uttarkashi and Pauri, Dhami said that the government will expedite the rehabilitation of the affected people. He said that establishment of Adarsh Sanskrit Grams will spread the Sanskrit language, adding that Uttarakhand is the first State to undertake such an initiative.
