
PIONEEREDGE NEWS SERVICE | Haridwar Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached the flooded areas of Laksar in Haridwar district on Tuesday. Dhami was driven on a tractor to waterlogged rural areas where he also interacted with the local residents. He also visited some areas on a boat along with officials. The CM directed officials to expedite relief and rehabilitation efforts in the area, adding that complacency will not be tolerated when it comes to ensuring the safety of affected people, accommodation for them along with food and health facilities. Dhami said, “The State government stands firmly with every affected citizen at this time. We will provide all possible assistance while according priority to rescue and relief work. All necessary assistance will be provided by the government to every disaster-affected family,” he said.
