Dehradun, 16 Oct: On Thursday, the Governor, Lieutenant General Gurmeet Singh (Retd), received a courtesy call from Union Minister of State for Women Empowerment and Child Development, Savitri Thakur, at the Raj Bhavan, here.
During the meeting, the Governor discussed with Thakur matters related to the welfare and empowerment of women and children, as well as various schemes of the Central Government.
