PIONEER EDGE NEWS SERVICE/Jyotirmath Badrinath Dham has been decorated with flowers for the occasion of Deepawali. Special Archana of Goddess Lakshmi and Kuber is also performed on the occasion. The Deepawali festivities have begun in Badrinath with the temple being decked up in about 10 quintals of flowers- mainly marigold. The Badrinath Dharmadhikari Radha Krishna Thapliyal informed that special prayers and rituals are traditionally held in Badrinath on the festival of Deepawali. Special prayers are also offered to Goddess Lakshmi and Kuber on the occasion, he added.
