Dehradun, 24 Oct: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to celebrate the 150th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna, the Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, on a grand scale with full public participation. To ensure the successful coordination of the programmes under this campaign, the party has appointed District In-Charges and Co-In-Charges.

State Media Chief Manveer Singh Chauhan shared with the media-persons that, on the instructions of State President Mahendra Bhatt, the party officials have been given this responsibility for the late Patel’s birth anniversary programmes. Under this campaign, which will run from 31 October to 6 November, the party will organise creative programmes at the mandal (block) level, including ‘Run for Unity’, tribute meetings, padayatras, educational competitions, and Swadeshi Apnao drives. The party aims to ensure maximum public participation in all such programmes being held up to the mandal level. The State Party resident will give necessary instructions regarding the programme in a virtual meeting tomorrow with all the State Officials, District In-Charges, Co-In-Charges, and Presidents of the various Morchas (Wings).
To ensure the successful execution of these programmes, State President Mahendra has appointed a District In-Charge along with two Co-In-Charges in all 19 organisational districts. These responsibilities have been assigned to Gajendra Singh Rawat for Chamoli, to Bhupendra Bhandari for Rudraprayag, Pawan Nautiyal for Uttarkashi, Jayant Semwal for Tehri, Amit Dabral for Tehri Dehradun Rural, Sanket Nautiyal for Dehradun Metropolitan, Sampoorn Rawat for Rishikesh, Sandeep Agrawal for Haridwar, Bhim Singh for Roorkee, Prahlad Rawat for Pauri, Hari Singh Pundir for Kotdwar, Virendra Shah for Pithoragarh, Sanjay Parihar for Bageshwar, Pooran Rajwar for Ranikhet, Dewashish Negi for Almora, Himesh Kalkhudiya for Champawat, Daya Kishan Pokhariya for Nainital, Vineet Chauhan for Kashipur, and to Amit Pandey for Udham Singh Nagar.
