Dehradun, 5 Nov: A grand Adhyatmik Sangam (Spiritual Confluence) was organised at the Chief Minister’s residence here this afternoon which brought together several eminent sages, seers and Dharmacharyas from across the country. The distinguished gathering included Jagadguru Shankaracharya Rajarajeshwar Maharaj, Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Kailashanand Giri Maharaj, Junapeethadhishwar Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Avdheshanand Giri, Swami Chidanand Saraswati, President of Parmarth Niketan, Rishikesh, Swami Ravindra Puri Maharaj, President of Akhara Parishad, Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, Peethadhishwar of Bageshwar Dham, Acharya Balkrishna of Patanjali Yogpeeth, spiritual orator Jaya Kishori, and poet-philosopher Dr Kumar Vishwas.
The sages extended their warm greetings on the occasion of Uttarakhand’s Silver Jubilee year and lauded Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami’s commitment to preserving the cultural dignity and spiritual essence of Dev Bhoomi. They observed that his leadership has reinforced the state’s identity as the land of spirituality, peace, and divine tradition. The seers further praised the CM’s consistent efforts to protect Uttarakhand’s heritage and promote social harmony through balanced governance rooted in cultural pride.
Applauding the policies of the state government, the spiritual leaders said that Uttarakhand has made commendable progress in strengthening socio-cultural discipline, conserving religious sites, developing spiritual tourism, and safeguarding Sanatan values. They appreciated the administration’s inclusive approach, which they said reflects respect for both tradition and modernity.
The sages collectively assured their full cooperation in making Haridwar Kumbh 2027 a historic and divine success. They blessed the CM and pledged to work hand in hand with the government to ensure that the forthcoming Kumbh becomes a world-class event of unparalleled scale and sanctity. They observed that the Kumbh is not merely a religious congregation but a global confluence of Sanatan tradition, Indian culture, and spiritual consciousness, and that it is the collective duty of both the spiritual fraternity and the government to make it a golden chapter in Uttarakhand’s history.
Expressing confidence in Dhami’s leadership, the sages said that his vision for Kumbh 2027 is both inspiring and transformative. They noted that his decisiveness, transparency, and deep reverence for religious traditions have infused new confidence among all stakeholders. They added that the vision presented by the Chief Minister to take Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand to a new height during Kumbh 2027 is inspirational. With the government’s commitment and the blessings of the sages, this Kumbh will be remembered as a golden chapter in history.
The spiritual leaders further observed that the ongoing preparations for the Kumbh, covering infrastructure, transport, ghat development, security, cleanliness, and pilgrim facilities, reflect a holistic approach that will enhance Haridwar’s stature as a global spiritual destination. They declared that all sages, seers, Akharas, and religious institutions will work together as one family, offering unwavering support for the successful organisation of the Kumbh and the management of faith during the event.
