Dehradun, 7 Nov: An Inter-School Quiz Competition organised at St Thomas’ College here, on Friday, as part of the ongoing school festival ‘Spectrum-2025’.
Five schools of the city competed, showcasing exceptional intellectual powers. These were The TonsBridge School, Summer Valley School, St Joseph’s Academy, St Jude’s School and St Thomas’ College.

Sarita Sahni of St Thomas’ College was the Quiz Mistress, and the scorers were Ridhima Singh & Nishita Kothari. There were 12 rounds viz Current Affairs, Science, Hide and Seek, Sports, Audio Round, Dumb Charades, Numerical Ability, Computers/IT, Visual Round and Rapid-Fire Round. This engaging format ensured an enlightening and entertaining experience for all.
Summer Valley School with 108 Points were the Winners and St Joseph’s Academy with 95 Points was awarded The Runners Up Trophy.
Brother Dennis Joseph, Principal St Patrick’s Academy, was the Chief Guest for the day. He felicitated the winners and complimented the participants, saying, “Quiz Competitions inspire critical thinking & Teamwork and today’s quiz was a testament of the same.”
STC Principal RV Gardner, ex-MLA, proposed the vote of thanks. He said, “The Inter-School Quiz competition was a resounding success, showcasing the intellectual calibre of our students. We’re proud to provide a platform for young minds to shine.” He thanked all the participating schools and their principals for sending the students to this competition.
