Dehradun, 28 Dec: WIC India Toastmasters Club held its 522nd meeting today at WIC India, Rajpur Road, centred around the reflective theme “Bye-Bye 2025”. The meeting encouraged members and guests to look back at the year gone by, reflect on achievements and challenges, and draw lessons to shape a positive and purposeful start to 2026.The session was led by Toastmaster Prakash Bhatt, who served as the Toastmaster of the Day and guided the meeting with intriguing insights and team activities on reflection, learning, and fresh beginnings. The theme resonated strongly with the Club’s emphasis on mindful communication, self-awareness, and continuous personal growth.The meeting was formally opened by Toastmaster Kanika Juyal, President of the Club, who welcomed members and guests and set the tone for the session. The evaluation segment was overseen by Toastmaster BP Kothiyal, the General Evaluator, who ensured constructive feedback and meaningful learning for all role players. The supporting role players included Toastmaster Sagar Singh Kushwah as Timer, Toastmaster Rishabh Shukla as Ah-Counter, Toastmaster Kanika Juyal as Grammarian, and Toastmaster Paras Tiwari as Harkmaster.The prepared speech segment featured Toastmaster Rohan Trivedi, who delivered a speech titled “Transcending 2026 with Minimum Consumption and Maximum Peace”, with Toastmaster Dev Mishra serving as the evaluator and offering insightful and constructive feedback.The Table Topics session was conducted by Toastmaster Dev Mishra, who encouraged spontaneous thinking and confident expression among participants by asking thought-provoking questions.Before the meeting was adjourned, the new Executive Committee for the term January-June 2026 was installed by Toastmaster BP Kothiyal who congratulated the new team while thanking the outgoing one for its hard-work and dedication.The meeting concluded with reflections on the importance of learning from the past while embracing growth and new possibilities in the year ahead.
