Haridwar, 28 Dec: Haridwar: A book, ‘Dharma Rakshak Dhami’, was formally launched at a grand function held at the Rishikul Auditorium here yesterday. Leading seers and spiritual heads were present on the occasion and they described Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami as a steadfast protector of faith and culture. The book has been authored by Dr Sonali Mishra and Reena Mansehra. Addressing the gathering on this occasion, Jagatguru Shankaracharya Swami Rajrajeshwarashram noted that the security of the nation is intrinsically linked with the protection of religion. He added that governance must rest on a framework of righteous policy to ensure national well-being. He commended the authors Dr Sonali Mishra and Reena Mansehra for meticulously documenting the Chief Minister’s decisive actions against the forces perceived as posing a challenge to the security and sanctity of the state. Rajrajeshwarashram further observed that the collective blessings extended by the seers at the book launch underline that the CM Dhami’s initiatives are moving in the right direction.
Former Union Minister of State and Nainital MP Ajay Bhatt observed that the authors have presented a valuable gift to the public that enables the younger generation to closely understand the CM’s contributions through this book.
Blessing the authors, Niranjan Peethadheeshwar Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Kailashanand Giri termed their effort highly laudable and noted that the Dhami government’s stringent crackdown on illegal activities in Devbhoomi Uttarakhand has unsettled those with a jihadi mindset. Many such elements are forced now to flee the state.
Supporting this view, Mahant Ravindra Puri, President of the Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad and Maa Mansa Devi Temple Trust, commented that through this book the Divine Mother herself has bestowed blessings upon Dhami, adding that the authors’ work would infuse the people of the state with renewed energy and confidence.
Former Maharashtra Governor and former Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Bhagat Singh Koshyari described Dhami as an inspiration for the youth. He also asserted that Dhami has deep devotion towards religion and a steadfast commitment to national service. He said the campaign against illegal encroachments and radical ideologies would prove to be a milestone in preserving the spiritual and cultural identity of Devbhoomi.
The gathering was also addressed by Mahamandaleshwar Swami Dr Shashwatanand Giri, Mahamandaleshwar Swami Rupendra Prakash, Mahamandaleshwar Swami Lalitanand and Swami Yatishwaranand, all of whom congratulated the authors and praised the efforts of the Dhami administration towards preserving the sanctity of dharma.
A formal introduction to the book was presented by the co-author, Dr Sonali Mishra, while the other author Reena Mansera expressed gratitude to the seers and distinguished guests for their presence and blessings. The proceedings were conducted by senior BJP leader and former Principal of DAV (PG) College in Dehradun, Dr Devendra Bhasin.
The guests were formally welcomed by a delegation comprising former Press Club President Amit Sharma, Raj Kumar Sharma, Prof Dinesh Chandra Shastri, Vishwas Saxena, Anuj Singh, Amit Sharma, Vikas Tiwari, journalist Shailendra Singh, Dr Shiva Agrawal, Rohit Bhatia, Kapil Modi, Aditya Gaur and Adhir Kaushik.
The book Dharm Rakshak Dhami was released in the presence of hundreds of seers and dignitaries, including Rajya Sabha MP Kalpana Saini, Minister of State Vinay Rohilla, senior journalist Dinesh Mansehra, Shyamveer Saini, Jaipal Singh, Vishwas Dabur, Sunil Saini, Shobharam Prajapati, Ajit Chaudhary, Madhu Bhatt, Geeta Khanna, Deshraj Karnwal, Mayor Kiran Jaisal, and Kashipur Mayor Deep Bali. Among those also present on the occasion were BJP District President Ashutosh Sharma, General Secretaries Sanjeev Chaudhary and Heera Singh Bisht, Vice President Tarun Nayyar, Minister Vineet Jolly, Divyanshu Vidyarthi, Vasu Parashar, Kapil Jaunsari, Dr Vishal Garg, Councillor Akrishika, BJYM District President Abhinav Chauhan and narrator Pawan Shastri.
