Devprayag, 20 Jan: Patanjali Gurukulam, Devprayag, has emerged as the top-performing institution by winning the highest number of medals in the State-Level Sanskrit Shastra Competition. The competition was organised by the Central Sanskrit University at its Devprayag campus, where students of Patanjali Gurukulam, Moolya Gram, Devprayag delivered an outstanding performance.
Participating in 18 competitions, the students secured first position in 11 events, second position in 4 events, and third position in 2 events, showcasing exceptional scholastic excellence. By excelling in these competitions, the students not only advanced the mission of cultural preservation through Sanskrit but also brought great pride to Patanjali, earning recognition as one of the foremost institutions in Devbhoomi Uttarakhand.
Congratulating the students on their remarkable achievement, Acharya Balkrishna, General Secretary of Patanjali Yogpeeth, encouraged the participants and conveyed his best wishes for their bright and prosperous future.
It is noteworthy that the students of Patanjali Gurukulam, Moolya Gram, Devprayag who secured first positions at the state level will now represent Uttarakhand at the national-level competitions to be held in Kanchipuram.
On this occasion, Sadhvi Devshruti, Principal of Patanjali Gurukulam, Devprayag; Sadhvi Devashrita; and other faculty members of the institution were also present.
