Dehradun, 9 Feb: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami was paid a courtesy visit today at his official residence by the Chairman of the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) and renowned author, poet, and lyricist, Prasoon Joshi.
Chief Minister Dhami appreciated Prasoon Joshi’s significant contributions to the fields of literature and cinema and held discussions on various subjects related to art, culture, literature, and films.
On this occasion, deliberations were also held on Uttarakhand’s cultural heritage, folk art, folk music, and the possibilities of film production in the state. The Chief Minister said that the Uttarakhand Government is continuously making efforts to develop the state as a film-friendly hub for film production and shooting, and that necessary policy support and facilities are being provided for this purpose.
Praising Prasoon Joshi’s work as Chairman of the Central Board of Film Certification, the Chief Minister expressed hope for cooperation in the future to expand cinema, literature, and cultural activities in Uttarakhand.
