In the health and social security sector, more than 60 lakh cards were issued under the Atal Ayushman Yojana, and more than 10 lakh patients received free treatment worth over Rs 3,400 crore. The State’s social inclusion policy reflects the 30 per cent reservation for women, 33 per cent participation in cooperative societies and the empowerment of over 2.5 lakh women through the “Lakhpati Didi” scheme. The government further stated that Uttarakhand has also set new records in the fields of tourism and religious faith. In 2025, more than 60 million tourists arrived, while the Char Dham Yatra and Kanwad Yatra saw record numbers of pilgrims. Development work is underway at Kedarnath and Badrinath Dham under a master plan. Additionally, the launch of the Manaskhand Mandir Mala Mission and the winter Yatra have enabled progress toward promoting year-round tourism. The State is also rapidly progressing in infrastructure development. The Rishikesh-Karnprayag rail project, the Delhi-Dehradun expressway, ropeway projects and the expansion of helicopter services are reshaping connectivity.
