Srinagar (Garhwal), 26 May: An important Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on Monday between Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University and the Centralised Training Centre (CTC) SSB, Srinagar Garhwal, to promote mutual cooperation and coordination.
Under the agreement, the two institutions will work together in areas of mutual interest, including training, education, research, skill development, sports, yoga, disaster management, environmental protection, and other areas of mutual interest. Various academic and training activities will also be conducted for students and personnel. During the event, senior officials and representatives from both institutions agreed to effectively conduct joint programs in the future. Speakers stated that this MoU will strengthen the exchange of knowledge, experience, and resources, as well as play a vital role in the overall development of students and personnel.
Present on the occasion were Garhwal University Vice Chancellor Prof Shriprakash Singh, CTC SSB Srinagar DIG Subhash Chandra Negi, SSB Commandant SB Chand, Registrar Prof YP Raiwani, Deputy Commandant Arun Biyala, and Prof Mahendra Babu Kuruwa and Assistant Registrar SP Badal and other officers.
