
CM to interact with 140 students with best ideas today under Mukhyamantri Yuwa Vidhyarthi Manthan initiative PIONEER EDGE NEWS SERVICE/ Dehradun A total of 2,67,744 students of class XI and XII have submitted their ideas on ‘How should Uttarakhand of my dreams be?’ under the Mukhyamantri Yuwa Vidhyarthi Manthan initiative of chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. A team of experts have selected a total of 140 students out of the 2.67 lakh students who had submitted their ideas and with them CM Dhami will directly interact to understand their vision for a developed Uttarakhand on September 18. These 140 selected students of Yuva Vidyarthi Manthan will get a scholarship of up to Rs two lakh for career coaching after completion of their class XII. To make this dialogue more comprehensive and meaningful, CM has directed senior IAS officers and heads of various departments to interact with these Gen-G. Before the interaction with the CM, the senior officials will meet with the students to understand their views, suggestions and vision for the future of the state. Heads of departments of Education, Health, Forest, Public Works Department, IT, Tourism, Women and Child Development will listen to the youth’s suggestions and inform the CM about important ideas. CM has stated that the meaningful and useful suggestions provided by students will be incorporated into the government’s policies and development direction. He added that understanding the Uttarakhand that youth envision and integrating that vision into development plans is the government’s priority. ” I consider this generation as the Indian generation. Brainstorming with them has given us the opportunity to learn and understand many new ideas. This generation is the future of Uttarakhand,’’ he said. Dhami added that his government believes in dialogue and engagement with youth. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has presented the nation with a vision of making India a developed nation by 2047. The youth of Uttarakhand will also make a significant contribution to realising this resolve. The primary objective of the Mukhyamantri Yuva Vidhyarthi Manthan is to enable the youth of the State to participate in building a developed Uttarakhand and a developed India through their talent, innovation and ideas.
