Dehradun, 21 Jan: Experts at Graphic Era are imparting training to officials on modern Artificial Intelligence tools and their practical applications.For this purpose, a two-day Management Development Programme commenced today at Graphic Era Hill University.
Addressing the programme, Vice Chancellor Dr Amit R Bhatt said that, in today’s digital era, AI tools have become extremely important. If these are not adopted effectively and in the right direction across all fields, ‘technology may leave us behind in the future’. Therefore, understanding AI and using it responsibly has become the need of the hour.Officials from the Department of Industries, Uttarakhand Jal Vidyut Nigam, Power Transmission Corporation, Pey Jal Nigam, Public Works Department, along with various other departments and public sector undertakings, are participating in this two-day Management Development Programme. Participants will be informed about the basic concepts of Artificial Intelligence, the Indian and global AI landscape, and its practical applications in government and the public sector. Special emphasis will also be laid on data-driven decision-making, AI readiness, and the responsible use of AI in public administration.The programme is being organised by the School of Management, Graphic Era Hill University. The event was attended by the Head of the School of Management, Dr Vishal Sagar, along with faculty members.
