Satpuli (Pauri), 28 Dec: “In line with the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the state under the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is continuously setting new benchmarks of development.”
Speaking about the Chaubattakhal Assembly constituency, a long-awaited lake project is currently under rapid construction in the Satpuli Nagar Panchayat area. Meanwhile, the construction work of the Nagar Panchayat building has been completed up to 95 percent.
These remarks were made by the State Minister for Panchayati Raj, Rural Construction, Public Works, Tourism, Irrigation, Watershed, Religious Affairs, and Culture, and local MLA Satpal Maharaj, while addressing the 10th Nayar Valley Panchayat Festival of Satpuli Nagar Panchayat as the Chief Guest on Sunday at a local wedding point.
Maharaj said that he is continuously working to take Satpuli Nagar Panchayat and the entire region to new heights of development. He stated that along with the construction of a bathing facility and beautification works at Dangleshwar Mahadev Temple at a cost of ₹76 lakh, a multi-storey shopping complex with public toilets and parking has been constructed in Satpuli at a cost of ₹2 crore 81 lakh. He further stated that the construction of a cowshed in Odal Bada, approved at a cost of ₹76 lakh, has also been completed.
From the Tourism Department, construction of a 40-bed tourist accommodation facility in Satpuli at a cost of ₹4 crore 42 lakh 65 thousand has reached 95 percent completion. Considering the shortage of parking facilities in the Nagar Panchayat area, construction of a car parking facility at a cost of ₹3 crore 52 lakh 53 thousand is progressing rapidly in response to public demand.
Maharaj further said that construction of an inspection building and dormitory in Satpuli is underway through the Irrigation Department at a cost of ₹2 crore 37 lakh 88 thousand. To resolve drinking water problems, the Satpuli Urban Pumping Drinking Water Scheme is being constructed at a cost of ₹25 crore 56 lakh. Widening and strengthening work of the motor road between Gumkhal and Satpuli is also underway with an approval of ₹400 crore. Earlier, ₹6 crore had been spent on the renovation of this road. He emphasised that the all-round development of the Nayar Valley has always been his top priority, and he is making continuous efforts in this direction.
