Art & speech competitions held at Ghananand Inter College; winners felicitated

Mussoorie, 28 Sep: Art and speech competitions were organised at Atal Utkrist Ghananand Government Inter College as part of the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ being conducted to mark the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday. Through these competitions, students were introduced to the resolve of a self-reliant India and made aware of their role in the nation’s future. Senior BJP leader and former Municipal Council Chairman OP Uniyal visited the school, interacted with the students, and praised the talent displayed by the participants. He distributed prizes to the winners. OP Uniyal stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has pledged to make India self-reliant by the year 2047, and that the youth and students would play a crucial role in achieving this goal. He remarked that there is no lack of talent among children; what is needed is to provide them with the right guidance and opportunities. Appreciating the efforts of the school’s teaching staff, he noted that teachers play a vital role in helping children progress and shaping their futures. Principal Ravi Uniyal and other teachers were present on the occasion.
