Dehradun, 7 Jun: Widespread concern has emerged in Uttarakhand following the arrest of Keshav Negi, a chef/cook employed at a hotel linked to the recent fire incident in Delhi’s Malviya Nagar area.
In this regard, BJP leader Ravindra Jugran held discussions with Pauri Garhwal Member of Parliament and BJP National Media Head Anil Baluni, as well as BJP State President and Rajya Sabha MP Mahendra Bhatt, seeking immediate intervention for Keshav Negi’s release.
Responding to the concerns raised by Ravindra Jugran, MP Anil Baluni informed him that he had already spoken with the Delhi Police Commissioner regarding the matter and had sought detailed information about the case. He assured that efforts are being made to ensure Keshav Negi’s release at the earliest.
BJP State President and Rajya Sabha MP Mahendra Bhatt also assured Ravindra Jugran that the Uttarakhand Government would intervene in the matter and take all necessary steps to facilitate Keshav Negi’s early release.
Ravindra Jugran stated that, considering the sentiments of Keshav Negi’s family and the people of Uttarakhand, it is important that the matter is handled fairly and justly. He expressed confidence that the efforts of public representatives and the government would lead to a positive resolution soon.
