Dehradun, 31 Jan: On the occasion of his birthday, today, Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi first sought the blessings of his mother, Mohini Joshi. Thereafter, he offered prayers at the Mata Bhadrakali Temple located in Guchhupani and participated in the community feast organised on the occasion.
Cabinet Minister Joshi, along with his family, performed special prayers and a havan-yajna at the Mata Bhadrakali Temple, seeking the blessings of Goddess Kali and praying for the happiness, prosperity, and well-being of the people of the state. Along with his wife, Nirmala Joshi, he also carried out plantation activities in the temple complex, conveying a message of environmental conservation.
The community feast organised at the Mata Bhadrakali Temple was attended by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami; former Chief Minister and former Governor of Maharashtra, Bhagat Singh Koshyari; Cabinet Minister Rekha Arya; MLA Savita Kapoor; MLA Khajan Das; State General Secretary (Organisation) Ajay Kumar; State General Secretary Tarun Bansal; State General Secretary Kundan Parihar; BJP Yuva Morcha State President Vipul Mendoli; Ministers of State Jyoti Prasad Gairola, Kailash Pant, Ramesh Gadiya; Dr Geeta Khanna; Bhuvan Vikram Dabral; Vinay Rohilla; along with senior party leaders and workers, representatives of the transgender community, departmental officials, and several other distinguished guests.
Thousands of Bharatiya Janata Party workers from Dehradun also marked their presence at the event. Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi expressed his gratitude to all those who attended and extended their greetings and good wishes on his birthday.
