BJP candidates emerged victorious in most of the constituencies where CM Dhami campaigned my uttarakhand news | DEHRADUN The candidates of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) have emerged victorious in most of the constituencies of Jammu and Haryana in the Assembly elections where Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami campaigned for the party.  Uttarakhand CM was one of the star campaigners of BJP in Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir Vidhan Sabha elections. In Haryana he campaigned in support of BJP candidates in Kalka, Panchkula, Rewari, Gurugram, Sohna, Safidon, Pundri, Badkhal, Kalanaur, Rohtak, Ladwa, Faridabad and Ballabgarh. Barring Panchkula, Kalanaur and Rohtak, the BJP candidates secured victories in all the above listed constituencies.  In Jammu, Dhami campaigned in Samba, Basohli, Marh and Bani assembly constituencies. Here also the strike rate of CM was good as BJP romped home in all but one (Bani) constituency. The followers of CM Dhami are happy at the election result and claim that his strike rate is very good in both these States which witnessed a tough contest. They point out that the stature of Dhami is rising at the national level and the central leadership of the party has made him one of the star campaigners for the party. His supporters are of the view that the decision of the CM Dhami to implement Uniform Civil Code (UCC) in the State and his action against the land jihad has made him popular throughout the country. His action on the examination mafia and a strict anti-copying law has endeared him to people across the country. The Dhami government’s anti conversion law and anti riot bill have also been appreciated by the people. Dhami said that the people of Haryana have put their stamp of approval on the unprecedented works undertaken by the double engine government of BJP in the last ten years and to the energetic leadership of CM Nayab Singh Saini. He expressed confidence that the journey of development will continue unabated in Haryana.
