PIONEER EDGE NEWS SERVICE | Dehradun Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has directed officials to take effective and timely action according to the established roadmap to ensure the simple, convenient and transparent delivery of citizen services through the integrated platform of Digital Uttarakhand. In a meeting held on Monday to discuss game-changing schemes, the CM reviewed the progress of the Digital Uttarakhand platform in detail. He emphasised that all departments concerned should act promptly to ensure the success of this vital digital initiative by the State government for better governance. The CM stated that this initiative aims to bring the state into the digital age, which will enhance the transparency and effectiveness of governance while revolutionising the way services are communicated and delivered to citizens. He highlighted the importance of ensuring that the platform is smooth, convenient and secure. During the meeting, secretary of Information Technology, Nitesh Jha informed that the Digital Uttarakhand platform is being developed as a single digital access point for quick links and services related to all State government schemes. This will facilitate the delivery of citizen services and improve the implementation of programmes by enhancing data-driven administration and efficiency.
