PIONEER EDGE NEWS SERVICE/Dehradun Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in a multi-purpose camp organised in Jainoli, in the Tadikhet development block of Almora district, as part of the ‘Prashasan Gaon Ki Aur’ campaign on Tuesday. During the event, the CM inspected the stalls set up by various departments and took time to sit at the ‘Mukhya Sevak’ stall, where he listened to the concerns of the public. Dhami communicated with the citizens present at the camp, discussing their complaints one by one. He instructed the relevant departmental officials to ensure prompt and timely resolutions. He emphasised that the goal of these camps is to make government services accessible to the public at their doorstep, eliminating the need for individuals to travel unnecessarily to address their issues. He assured that officials would personally visit villages to carry out public work and resolve concerns. “All government departments are available on a single platform at the public’s doorstep and I encourage everyone to take full advantage of this facility. These programmes are specifically organised for the convenience of the public,” Dhami stated. In response to a complaint regarding the dilapidated condition of PM Shri Government Inter College in Jainoli, the CM announced plans for the renovation of the building. He highlighted that providing a safe and better educational environment for students is a priority for the government. He further added that the Prashasan Gaon Ki Aur campaign is an effective initiative aimed at strengthening dialogue, trust and participation between the government and the public, leading to quicker, transparent and effective resolution of public issues.
