PIONEER NEWS SERVICE/ Dehradun Chief minister, Pushkar Singh Dhami flagged off 20 new air-conditioned UTC Mini (tempo traveller) to be operated by Uttarakhand Transport Corporation on Monday. Out of these, 10 vehicles will run on Dehradun-Mussoorie route while the rest 10 will run on Haldwani- Nainital route. Dhami said that if this initiative is successful, the number of such services will be increased further. In the inaugural run, he travelled from his camp office to the GTC Helipad. He also said on the occasion that electric buses would soon be included in UTC’s bus fleet. “The process of purchasing such buses is in progress,” he added.
