CM presents Rs 5,315 crore supplementary budget in Vidhan Sabha PIONEEREDGE NEWS SERVICE | Bharadisain Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami presented a supplementary budget of Rs 5,315 crore on the first day of the monsoon session of Vidhan Sabha in Bharadisain on Tuesday. The budget includes a sum of Rs 2152.37 crore under the revenue head and Rs 3163.02 crore under the capital account head. The supplementary budget has made provision for a sum of Rs 925 crore for the construction of Rispana- Bindal elevated road project. Similarly, a provision of Rs 200 crore has been made for the Kumbh Mela 2027 and Rs 188.55 crore for expansion of the Pantnagar airport. The government has also made a provision of Rs 236.93 crore for rehabilitation work in the land subsidence affected Jyotirmath and other areas of the State. Similarly, a provision of Rs 90 crore has been made for current works of the Public Works Department, Rs 78.89 crore for modernisation of the fire tending services and Rs 60 crore for construction of houses of policemen in the State. Dhami said that the Rs 5,315 crore supplementary budget is inspired by the vision of inclusive development of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.  He said that the focus of the State government is on investment in human resources, invocation and economic empowerment. The CM said that special attention is being laid on infrastructure works in the State. The State government is committed to the development of Yog Nagri Rishikesh as Yoga city and Haridwar as the spiritual tourism city.  He further said that the supplementary budget is a step towards the development of a strong Uttarakhand.
