The documentary based on the rescue operation of labourers trapped in Silkyara tunnel of Uttarkashi is produced by Parivartan Picture and directed by Rishabh Kohli and Prashant Upadhyay. Dhami described the documentary as a powerful representation of teamwork and human emotions. He said that the Silkyara tunnel rescue operation has become a remarkable chapter in Uttarakhand’s history, showcasing the extraordinary collaboration among various agencies, the administration and local residents. “This documentary will showcase the technical expertise and the spirit of the State involved in this mission,” he said. He emphasised that the film symbolises Uttarakhand’s commitment to ‘Resolve and Service’ and aims to impart a message of perseverance and dedication to the youth during challenging times. Additionally, director Kohli said that this documentary focuses on the Silkyara tunnel rescue operation, with the CM Dhami narrating the intricate details of this significant rescue mission. He said that the film illustrates not just the technical difficulties and human determination but also captures the essence of Uttarakhand’s heritage, emotions and leadership. The documentary was filmed in Uttarakhand and will be available soon on a prominent OTT platform, he added.
