Dehradun, 13 Mar: A two-day workshop has begun at Graphic Era to train students in cyber security, digital safety technologies, and ways to protect themselves from cyber-attacks.
The workshop on the topic, ‘Cyber Crime and Strategies for Cyber Security’, started today at Graphic Era Hill University. Cyber security expert from Bengaluru, Mukesh Rao said that, in the digital age, cyber security has become a global necessity. Through a presentation, he explained various aspects of cyber security and introduced students to modern tools and techniques related to mobile and web security.
During the workshop, Mukesh Rao also taught students techniques to prevent cyber fraud using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and to make digital systems more secure.
The workshop has been organised by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Graphic Era Hill University. Head of the Department, Dr Anupam Singh, along with Dr Soumitra Chattopadhyay, Amrita Tiwari, Aniket Rawat, other faculty members, and students were present.
