
PIONEER EDGE NEWS SERVICE/ Dehradun Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the swearing-in ceremony of the Nitish Kumar led NDA government in Patna, Bihar on Thursday. In the programme held at historic Gandhi Maidan, Dhami extended his heartfelt best wishes and congratulations to the newly elected CM and members of his cabinet. He said that both Bihar and Uttarakhand share historical, cultural and social ties. He expressed confidence that under the leadership of the new government, Bihar will achieve new heights of development with renewed energy and determination. During the programme, Dhami also met eminent leaders from various states across the country and discussed with them issues of development, good governance and coordinated progressive policies. Extending his best wishes for a bright future for the people of Bihar, the CM said that the State will continue to move on the path of development under the newly formed government. Earlier in the day, the CM was warmly greeted by local BJP leaders and party workers on his arrival at the Patna airport. The local people welcomed him by offering traditional Gamchha at the airport.
