my uttarakhand news | DEHRADUN Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will commence campaigning for the urban local body elections from Karnprayag on Saturday. The BJP’s State election management committee finalised the campaign schedule for its star campaigners, including Dhami and State president Mahendra Bhatt on Friday.  The party’s State media in-charge Manveer Singh Chauhan stated that the committee held a comprehensive review of the election campaign strategies and activities of various departments. During the meeting, chaired by Mahendra Bhatt and attended by senior leaders like State general secretaries Ajay Kumar and Aditya Kothari, the schedule for the CM and other prominent leaders was given a final shape. According to Chauhan, the schedule includes events in Dehradun on January 13, with programmes planned up to January 20. Bhatt will also be actively campaigning, attending over 40 events across municipal bodies starting January 12. Besides this, meetings with former CMs, MPs, cabinet ministers and other key star campaigners have also been conducted to finalise their participation in various regions. He informed that the BJP has also sought time slots from Rajya Sabha MP Sudhanshu Trivedi for events in Almora, Dehradun and Srinagar.
