Dehradun, 16 Mar: Renowned writer, academician and social worker Dr Pushpa Khanduri of Dehradun has been honoured with the prestigious Stree Shakti Samman-2026 by the Nepal-based Shabd Pratibha Bahukshetriya Samman Foundation. The award was presented to her on the occasion of International Women’s Day on 8 March in Nepal in recognition of her outstanding contributions to literature, education and social service.
On this occasion, foundation President Anand Giri Mayalu praised Khanduri’s dedication to knowledge dissemination, creative literary expression and social uplift. He also observed that her work continues to inspire women and young scholars. Congratulating her on the honour, the foundation expressed hope that she will remain closely associated with its literary and cultural initiatives.
