Dehradun, 15 Mar: The 19th edition of the monthly literary magazine, Sain Srijan Patal, dedicated to literature, creativity, and intellectual discourse, was released by Dr Vineeta Chaudhary, Associate Professor at DWT College, Dehradun. On this occasion, literature enthusiasts, writers, and intellectuals present at the event appreciated the continuous progress and literary contribution of the magazine, describing it as a powerful platform for creative expression.
Addressing the gathering during the launch, Dr Vineeta Chaudhary stated that literary magazines like Sain Srijan Patal play an important role in strengthening creativity, thoughtfulness, and cultural awareness in society. She emphasised that the platform provides equal opportunities for both emerging and established writers to express themselves, and such initiatives are extremely significant for the preservation and promotion of Hindi literature.
On this occasion, the founder of the platform and Editor-in-Chief of the magazine, Prof (Dr) KL Talwar, said that the objective of Sain Srijan Patal is to bring together various dimensions of literature, society, and culture on a single platform. He added that their continuous effort is to provide writers from across the country with opportunities to present their talent and to energise literary dialogue. The platform aims to act as a strong bridge between literature, society, and culture.
Sub Editor Ankit Tiwari stated that Sai Srijan Patal is not just a magazine but a powerful platform for creative ideas, offering young and emerging writers the opportunity to refine and showcase their talent.
During the event, Gram Panchayat Development Officer Asha Ranakoti remarked that such literary activities encourage positive thinking, awareness, and cultural values in society. She appreciated the efforts of Sain Srijan Patal in connecting literature with social concerns.
On the occasion, Dr Vineeta Chaudhary was honoured with the Lekhak Shri Award by Sain Srijan Patal for her literary contributions and creative writing. Several of her notable articles have been published in the magazine, including topics such as livelihood development through pine needle (Pirul) crafts, the taste and health benefits of Kumaoni Ras-Bhaat, a woman empowerment story of a leaf artist, Rangwali Pichora, Golu Devta of Chitai, the Dussehra festival of Almora, Aipan art, Ghughutiya festival, and the tradition of Kumaoni Holi singing. These works highlight various aspects of Uttarakhand’s folk culture, traditions, and livelihoods.
Asha Ranakoti was also honoured with a memento during the programme.
The event was attended by Manoj Chaudhary, Neelam Talwar from the platform, and Akshat, CEO of Insidee Creative Media, along with several other literature enthusiasts.
