PIONEER EDGE NEWS SERVICE/Dehradun Public sector oil marketing companies Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, and Indian Oil Corporation Limited assured the people of Uttarakhand on Monday that the availability of all essential petroleum products, including petrol (MS), diesel (HSD) and cooking gas (LPG), remains normal and uninterrupted throughout the State. The oil marketing companies stated that the overall supply situation in Uttarakhand is completely stable and adequate. The entire fuel supply chain—from terminals and depots to retail outlets—is operating smoothly and effectively, without any disruption anywhere. Fuel stock levels at all locations across the State are being continuously monitored and replenishment is ongoing smoothly based on demand. The supply of LPG for domestic consumers is being prioritised and its availability remains normal statewide. The situation is being monitored closely and continuously to ensure uninterrupted supply to all consumers, the officials said. By maintaining mutual coordination regarding logistics, stock movement and retail operations, the oil industry is ensuring the uninterrupted availability of fuel across the region. The general public is requested to remain assured and maintain their normal consumption behavior. Assuring citizens, State Level Coordinator for IOCL Uttarakhand, Krishna Kumar Gupta stated that there is no reason to worry in this regard. He appealed to the consumers to avoid unnecessary fuel purchases or hoarding. Furthermore, he advised relying only on the official communication channels of oil marketing companies for accurate and verified information regarding fuel availability.
