Dehradun, 24 Dec: An inter-school debate competition was organised today by the All India Freedom Fighters Committee, Delhi, at the Government Girls Inter College, Rajpur Road, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of freedom fighter Jogaram.Students from various schools (HK GGIC Kaulagarh, Shri KV Raipur, GGIC Karanpur, PM Shri GGIC Rajpur Road) participated enthusiastically in the program and presented their views in detail on topics such as the sacrifices of freedom fighters, the role of today’s youth, and All India Education in ABP.The topics for the competition were:1. Today’s youth are forgetting the sacrifices of freedom fighters – True or False2. Imparting education about the freedom struggle should be mandatory – For/AgainstThe program was conducted by Dr Asha Lal, National President (Women), All India Freedom Fighters Committee, Delhi, who said in her address, “The sacrifices of freedom fighters are not just history, but it is our moral duty to uphold their ideals for future generations.”At the end of the program, certificates were distributed to the students, and those who performed exceptionally well were honored. The director of the institution described it as inspiring for the students.The committee expressed its resolve to organize similar nation-building programs in the future. Present on the occasion were Prem Lata Baudai, Principal, GGIC Rajpur, Chief Guest Manoj Dhyani, Vinod Kumar Saxena, Dr Renu D Singh from Samadhan, Dr SS Khaira, Madan Lal Tamta, SP Singh Chauhan, Prem Khanna, Shashank Gupta, and teachers and students from various schools. All the participants presented their programs.First place in the debate competition: Kumari Shraddha Kirtan, PMShri GGIC Rajpur RoadSecond place: Anshika Rawat, PM Shri Central Vidyalaya OFD Raipur, Third place: Khushi Rawat.
