Dehradun, 1 Feb: The Governor, Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd), celebrated his birthday today at Lok Bhawan with the children of Sharp Memorial School. On this occasion, the school children extended their heartfelt birthday wishes to the Governor. The Governor cut the cake along with the children and expressed his gratitude to all for their affectionate greetings.
Subsequently, officers and staff of Lok Bhawan, along with their family members, also met the Governor and conveyed their birthday wishes and congratulations. Thanking everyone for their warm wishes, the Governor said that the affection and closeness of the Lok Bhawan family is deeply emotional and inspiring for him. He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all for this love and warmth.
On this occasion, First Lady Gurmeet Kaur, Secretary to the Governor Ravinath Raman, Legal Advisor Kaushal Kishore Shukla, Additional Secretary Reena Joshi, Aide-de-Camp Amit Srivastava, Major Sumit Kumar Shadija, Financial Controller Dr Tripti Srivastava, Joint Director, Information, Dr Nitin Upadhyay, along with officers and staff of Lok Bhawan and their family members, were also present.
