Dehradun, 26 Jul: Governor Lt General Gurmit Singh (Retd) paid a visit on the concluding day of the 3-day Multi-Specialty Medical Camp held at Military Hospital, Dehradun, in collaboration with Dr Suraj Prakash Jeevan Das Rawal Memorial Society & Velmed Hospital, under the aegis of Uttarakhand Sub Area. He met beneficiaries & healthcare teams and, alongside Major General MPS Gill, GOC Uttarakhand Sub Area, felicitated staff for their dedicated service. First Lady Gurmit Kaur presided over the closing ceremony and lauded the efforts of the Military Hospital and stressed on cancer screening and routine preventive care for women.
The First Couple planted Rudraksha & Rosemary saplings—symbolising a greener, healthier future. The camp was conducted to commemorate the 27th Kargil Vijay Diwas, honoring the valour and sacrifice of the Defence Forces & look after their families.
