People should avoid visiting landslide-prone hilly areas, as well as the vicinity of rivers, streams, and water channels. In the event of heavy rain or flash floods, one should remain in a safe location and not attempt to cross active landslide zones. He advised against standing in open spaces or under trees during lightning storms, recommending instead that people take shelter in safe, concrete buildings. Swimming or boating in swollen rivers, streams, and drains during heavy rainfall should be avoided. He noted that adverse weather conditions could lead to landslides, road blockages, waterlogging, and sudden rises in water levels in rivers and streams; therefore, all citizens are urged to exercise caution and remain vigilant.
