Bageshwar, 27 May: Uttarakhand Human Rights Commission will convene a two-day bench meeting on 28 and 29 May at the Vikas Bhawan auditorium in Bageshwar. During this, public hearings will also be conducted. During the proceedings, the commission will take up various cases and deliberate on matters related to human rights.
Deputy Secretary of the Commission Rajendra Jhinkwan informed that concerned parties and officials have been directed to remain present on the scheduled dates and times to ensure effective and timely disposal of cases. He added that the District Magistrate and Superintendent of Police of Bageshwar have been asked to make the necessary arrangements for the smooth conduct of the hearings.
