my uttarakhand news BureauDehradun, 24 Dec: BJP leader Ravindra Jugran met Additional Secretary (Personnel) Girdhari Singh Rawat today and informed him that, for the past eight years, recruitment to the posts of Junior Engineer and Assistant Engineer has not taken place in the Energy Department and eight other departments.
He requested that details of vacant posts from all concerned departments be collected and a requisition be sent to the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission in this regard.
The Additional Secretary (Personnel) assured Ravindra Jugran that the process to fill the vacant posts in all these departments is underway and that further speed will be ensured.
Ravindra Jugran stated that, despite several reminder letters issued by the Personnel Department, the departments concerned are delaying the submission of details of vacant posts. As a result, there is widespread resentment among unemployed diploma and degree holders.
