
PIONEER EDGE NEWS SERVICE/ Dehradun Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated six web portals of the Revenue department at his residence on Saturday. The portals are e-Bhulekh (updated version), Bhu- Naksha (map), Bhulekh Ansh, Bhu Anumati, agri loan and e-recovery portal. He said that in accordance with the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi more facilities are being provided to the public with the help of science, information technology and artificial intelligence (AI). He said that the launch of these web portals will provide great relief to citizens, simplify their lives and save them time by eliminating the need to make rounds of the offices. Dhami said that the State government is working with a commitment on the principle of simplification and solution. He said that the availability of new revenue-related services under digital India is an important step. This will bring transparency to administrative work and citizens will be able to avail of revenue services, including land records from the comfort of their homes. The CM said that now services related to land records, especially Khatauni (land record), can be obtained online in e- bhulekh portal in the form of a verified copy, from home via mobile or internet. He said that the process of obtaining land use/land work permission for industrial and agricultural purposes in the State has been made completely online. The facility of viewing the land map (cadastral map) has been made available free of cost in the public domain. The CM said that the new versions of six web applications have been developed using modern technologies in keeping with the spirit of Digital India, the goal of a developed Uttarakhand and modern demands. The initiative will enhance administrative transparency and citizen convenience and promote ease of doing business and ease of living. As per the officials, the Khatauni can now be obtained from home in the form of a certified copy through mobile or internet, by paying the prescribed fee online through the payment gateway. Earlier, the people had to visit the tehsil to obtain a certified copy of the Khatauni. Under the Bhulekh Ansh Portal, a separate share-determined database of the account holders and co-account holders registered in Golkhatas (joint land holdings) in the State’s land records is being prepared, which will pave the way for preparing the Farmer Registry of the State’s farmers. In this process, the caste, gender and identification number of the account holders are also being compiled in the land records, so that a consolidated database of land records can be prepared in the future. In the Agri- loan portal, the process of obtaining land use/land work permission for industrial and agricultural purposes in the state has been made completely online. The process for farmers to obtain loans from banks for agricultural and related activities against their land has also been made completely online. Chief secretary Anand Bardhan, Revenue secretary SN Pandey, secretary and Revenue Council commissioner Ranjana Rajguru, additional secretary Anand Shrivastava and others attended the meeting.
