Lt Col Chetan Singh Kabsuri is new Defence PRO in Doon

Dehradun, 18 May: Lt Col Chetan Singh Kabsuri is the new Defence PRO in Doon. He has taken over charge from Lt Col Manish Shrivastava.
After handing and taking over, both the officers visited the Governor, Lt Gen Gurmit Singh (Retd), on Monday.
The relinquishing and incumbent Defence PROs, on behalf of DPR MoD, paid a courtesy visit on the Governor at the Lok Bhawan.
During the engagement, the Governor expressed appreciation for the outgoing officer’s dedicated service and further provided strategic guidance to the incoming PRO, emphasising holistic awareness and knowledge of the current issues including military civil fusion, veterans and troops’ welfare, disaster response awareness and importance of maintaining transparent and respectful communication between the defence forces and the media.
