Mussoorie, 28 Jun: Under the aegis of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Mussoorie Mandal, a collective listening session for the 135th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s popular radio programme, ‘Mann Ki Baat’, was held on Sunday. Party workers across all 69 booths of the Mandal listened to the programme via mobile phones, televisions, radios, and other digital media, pledging to take the Prime Minister’s message to the masses. Great enthusiasm was evident among the BJP workers during the event. A large number of party office-bearers, workers, and supporters were present at the various booths.
Following the programme, the workers discussed the various social and national issues raised by the Prime Minister. Mussoorie BJP Mandal President Rajat Agarwal stated that, in his address, Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared detailed views on topics such as social awareness, environmental conservation, education, culture, public participation, and innovation. Highlighting inspiring initiatives that bring about positive change across the country and the extraordinary deeds of ordinary people, the Prime Minister noted that even small efforts play a significant role in nation-building. He called upon the people to turn environmental conservation into a mass movement, adopt a scientific temper, and carry forward India’s rich cultural heritage. He emphasised that the participation of every citizen is essential for the country’s development and that the dream of a ‘Developed India’ (Viksit Bharat) will be realised only through collective effort. He remarked that ‘Mann Ki Baat’ is not merely a radio programme but has become an effective medium to steer society in a positive direction and unite the people.
Inspired by the programme, workers are pledging to actively participate in various social campaigns. BJP Mussoorie Mandal office-bearers stated that, in accordance with party directives, the programme was successfully organised across all 69 booths of the Mandal. The workers also resolved to disseminate the Prime Minister’s messages to the general public and play an active role in campaigns serving the public interest.
