

By Sunil Sonker Mussoorie, 18 Jan: Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for various development works in the Mussoorie Assembly constituency. On this occasion, he inaugurated the Nagal Hatnala drinking water scheme constructed at a cost of Rs 398.96 lakh in Ward 4 Rajpur, and development schemes of the Mandi Parishad worth Rs 23 lakh. He also laid the foundation stone for road and drainage construction works in the Nagal Hatnala, Chalang, and Kulhan areas of the ward at a cost of Rs 188.36 lakh. In this way, Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi provided development works worth a total of Rs 616.67 lakh to the residents of the area.
In his address, Joshi said that the state government is continuously working to strengthen basic facilities, keeping public interest paramount. He said that development works such as drinking water, roads, and drains play a significant role in improving the living standards of the common people, and the government is committed to the balanced development of every region. During the programme, Minister Joshi also instructed the officials to ensure the quality of internal road construction works and complete the work within the stipulated time frame.
He also felicitated senior citizens and active members of the party. Those honoured included former Pradhan Chalang Ramlal Thakur, Prem Pathak, Meenakshi Bhatt, Kamal Gupta, Ravindra Singh, Kalam Singh Ramola, Rakhi Pundir, Ranveer, and Umesh Tyagi, among others.
On this occasion, BJP Mandal President Rajiv Gurung, Councilor Mahima Pundir, former Pradhan Sameer Pundir, Mandal General Secretary Alka Kulhan, Anuj Kaushal, Pramod Rawat, Vikram Indrawal, Prem Pathak, PWD EE Rajesh Kumar, Jal Nigam EE Deepak Nautiyal, Sudhir Pundir, Rajesh Ramola, Manjeet Rawat, Sanjay Rawat, and a large number of local residents were present.
