Minister Kaushik directs streamlined distribution of Ayurvedic medicines

Dehradun, 1 Jun: Ayush Minister Madan Kaushik chaired a departmental review meeting at the Assembly auditorium with officials of the department here today. On this occasion, he said that detailed discussions were held on the compliance and implementation status of earlier decisions regarding the Ayurvedic University at Harrawala. During the meeting, he also directed the officials concerned to take immediate steps to ensure smooth distribution of Ayurvedic medicines at Rishikul and Gurukul Ayurvedic Colleges in Haridwar.
The Minister also reviewed preparations and work plans at the departmental level in view of the forthcoming meeting with the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India, and instructed that all the proposals be completed within the stipulated time. He emphasised that no disorder should be allowed in Ayurvedic institutions and the state Ayurveda University and asked the officials to adopt proper procedures. He further directed that requisitions be sent promptly to fill vacant posts of technicians, librarians and other staff in the university and affiliated institutions.
Among those present at the meeting were Secretary Ayush Ranjana Rajguru, Additional Secretary Vijay Kumar Jogdande and other officials of the Ayush Department.
