
my uttarakhand news BureauDehradun, 2 Mar: Additional Chief Electoral Officer (Addl CEO) Vijay Kumar Jogdande chaired a booth-wise review meeting at the Municipal Corporation auditorium here, today, to assess the progress of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) being carried out across the district’s 10 Assembly constituencies and issued necessary directions to officials concerned.Jogdandey directed the respective Electoral Registration Officers to conduct weekly reviews of the work being undertaken by Booth Level Officers (BLOs). He instructed that in booths where the percentage of mapping remains low, tehsil-level officials and staff should be deployed to assist the concerned Booth Level Officers to ensure completion of the mapping exercise. He further emphasised that the Special Intensive Revision must be completed in a time-bound and effective manner.During the meeting, it was informed that a total of 66.62 percent of the mapping work has been completed in the district so far. Under the Chakrata Assembly constituency, 99.03 per cent of the mapping work has been completed, followed by 70.47 per cent in Vikasnagar, 71 per cent in Sahaspur, 56.94 per cent in Dharampur, 62.64 per cent in Raipur, 61.19 per cent in Rajpur, 61.36 per cent in Dehradun Cantt, 63.52 per cent in Mussoorie, 70 per cent in Doiwala and 60.87 per cent in Rishikesh.Chief Development Officer (CD) Abhinav Shah, Municipal Commissioner Namami Bansal, City Magistrate Pratyush Singh, Special Land Acquisition Officer (SLO) Smrita Parmar, Deputy Municipal Commissioner Santosh Pandey, SDM Sadar Harigiri, SDM Rishikesh Yogesh Mehar, SDM Vikasnagar Vinod Kumar, SDM Doiwala Aparna Dhaondiyal, Joint Secretary MDDA Gaurav Chatwal, SDM Kumkum Joshi, SDM Chakrata Premlal, Tehsildar Sadar Surendradev, Tehsildar Vikasnagar Vivek Rajouri, Tehsildar Rishikesh Chaman Singh, along with other officials, Booth Level Officers and supervisors were among those present at the meeting.
