
PIONEER EDGE NEWS SERVICE/ Dehradun A special session of the Vidhan Sabha will be held on November 3 and 4 in Dehradun. A notification in this regard was issued by the governor lieutenant general (retd) Gurmit Singh on Sunday. The session is being organised to mark 25 years of creation of the State. The Uttarakhand government has invited President Droupadi Murmu to address the special session and she is likely to attend the same. There will be no legislative work during the two-day special session of the Vidhan Sabha. It should be mentioned here that the State government has also invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi to attend a programme in Dehradun on November 9 to celebrate the Silver Jubilee of the creation of the State. The Pushkar Singh Dhami government has prepared a plan to celebrate the year as the Silver Jubilee year.
