PIONEER EDGE NEWS SERVICE/ Dehradun Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has said that the State government has provided government jobs to more than 30,000 youngsters in the last four years. In a digital letter to the youngsters selected in different recruitment examinations in the last four years, the CM said the people of Uttarakhand entrusted him with the responsibility of the chief minister for the second consecutive time in 2022. He said that in accordance with this mandate, a massive recruitment drive was initiated by him to fill vacant positions in different departments of the State government. “In the past four years, the State government has appointed over 30,000 youngsters in the government departments and this drive is continuing,’’ he said. In the letter, the CM added that the youngsters are now being selected for government service based on their outstanding talent and hard work. “While the hard work and talent of young people contribute to their selection, the State government’s strict anti-copying laws, along with a fair, honest and transparent selection process, have also ensured that their talent receives the appropriate recognition,” the CM wrote in the letter. Dhami asked the new employees to discharge their duties impartially and honestly and added that they should always be ready to serve the public with human values as government servants. The CM also interacted with some of the youngsters selected for the government jobs in the last four years over the phone and asked them to contribute enthusiastically to public service.
