Dehradun, 1 Jan: Punjab National Bank’s 300th branch in Uttarakhand was formally inaugurated at the city’s prestigious IT Park by the Regional Director of the Reserve Bank of India, Arvind Kumar. This branch is the first start-up–focused branch in the state, established specifically to provide financial support to start-ups. In addition, the branch will also cater to the banking needs of salaried individuals and High Net Worth Individuals (HNIs). This is the 96th branch of the bank in Dehradun district.
Addressing the gathering, Zonal Head Anupam said that the bank has always moved forward with a customer-centric approach. With the inauguration of this new branch at IT Park, Dehradun, the objective is to provide a world-class banking experience to the city’s start-up entrepreneurs, residents, business community, and youth. He added that this branch represents a fine blend of digital and traditional banking services, enabling customers to access all banking facilities at one place. He further emphasised that Punjab National Bank remains committed to customer satisfaction, innovation, and social responsibility.
On this occasion, Zonal Head Anupam, along with Deputy Zonal Heads Sunil Kumar Sakhuja and Pratap Singh Rawat, Head of Zonal Audit Office Kalika Prasad, and Circle Head Abhinandan Singh, as well as other senior bank officials, local dignitaries, businesspersons, and a large number of customers were present.
