Roorkee, 10 Oct: Quantum University organised ‘PRERAK-2025’, the E-Cell Orientation Programme aimed at fostering innovation, creativity, and an entrepreneurial mindset among students. The event was conducted on 8 October with enthusiasm and active participation, reflecting the university’s growing ecosystem for startup incubation and innovation-led learning.
The session began with an engaging and insightful introduction to Quantum E-Cell by Varun Tiwari, CEO of Genesis, who shared the vision behind establishing the Entrepreneurship Cell at Quantum University. He explained how the E-Cell acts as a launchpad for student-led startups, offering a platform for idea incubation, mentorship, funding assistance, and innovation-driven growth. His address encouraged students to take bold steps toward entrepreneurship and utilise university resources to transform their ideas into impactful ventures.

Following this, a session was conducted by renowned startup founders Shreyansh and Arshiya, who shared their entrepreneurial journeys and valuable lessons from real-world experiences. They emphasised the importance of observation and problem-solving, motivating students to identify challenges in their surroundings, think innovatively, and design solutions that create social and economic value. Their dynamic interaction and relatable success stories infused the audience with confidence and motivation.
The orientation also witnessed the participation of key faculty members — Dr Ashish Saini, Dr Amrita Kumari, Prof Himanshu Chaurasiya, Dr Ankur Sharma, and Rohan Chaudhary — who elaborated on the various resources and initiatives provided by the E-Cell. These include dedicated ideation labs, mentorship programmes, regular workshops, startup bootcamps, and funding guidance, all designed to nurture entrepreneurial talent within the campus.
Adding to the inspiration, in-house incubates such as Prathama, founder of Beauty Bloundoir, and Ravish, founder of Bachelors Spot, shared their startup experiences. They discussed the challenges and triumphs of their entrepreneurial journey, motivating fellow students to step forward and take advantage of the E-Cell’s incubation facilities and mentorship programmes.
